About Careyitos

The Boat Careyitos:

Twin engine 40 foot Bertram refurbished for diving, Covered Deck with plenty of room for gearing up, Sun Deck, Galley & Head. Large Swim Step with two ladders for easy entry & exit.

Maximum of 12 Divers.
Anchored in the Caleta Harbor which is 5 km south of town. (Local taxi is the best way to get there)

Careyitos Dive Team

Careyitos Dive Team has always been comitted to Cozumel`s coral reefs and its marine life, taking action and participating in conservation efforts long before designated a Marine Park. The Team’s proactive and service oriented attitude makes for a comfortable dive experience on the boat and underwater.

Dive Master Ricardo Valdez Madrigal born in México City in 1948, founded Careyitos Advanced Divers in 1982, he is a pioneer of Cozumel`s Reef friendly drift diving style, his diving interpretation has always been a personal quest for the best fitness oriented dive performance possible.

Simone Rossini, Underwater Camaraman and Dive Instructor, Simone started diving on the Careyitos in 1989, over 2 decades dedicated to improving his drift diving technique and camera works, his underwater images showcase Cozumel´s beauty for divers and non divers alike.
